Earlier this year I lost my Mum, 'Glen'. In her memory, I'll be running two half marathons: Hampton Court Palace in March and Great North Run in September, raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK.

My Mum was one of almost 44,000 people who are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in the UK but bowel cancer is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early.

Bowel Cancer UK funds targeted research, provides expert information and support to patients and their families, educates the public and professionals about the disease and campaigns for early diagnosis.
