Story
I'm setting myself a challenge for Children in Need... After having a bad case of Covid in August I've been really struggling with fatigue and muscle weakness, and recently I have been trying to move my body more to help improve my muscle strength; so after seeing Joe Wicks' Bearpees Challenge for Children in Need I thought it would be a great way for me to try to improve my own physical strength more, and start to regain some fitness back into my life, at the same time as helping to support children in more challenging situations.
I will be attempting to do 1,000 Pudsey Bearpees in 30 days, and I will be doing the sitting version to start with, but hope to get stronger over the 30 days and possibly do standing or full Bearpees nearer the end of the challenge!
I do hope you'll be able to sponsor me, the challenge starts on Monday 16th October, and ends on Friday 17th November - on Children in Need night.
I really do appreciate your support, as this will definitely be challenging for me!

"Pudsey Bearpees is our new and exciting fundraising challenge, and we want you to Challenge Yourself and Be SPOTacular and join #TeamBearpees today!
Starting on October 16th, over the course of a month, we’re asking you to Challenge Yourself to complete 1,000 Bearpees; that’s around 33 every day! Then, we want you to shout about it, share your fundraising page, and be a part of helping children and young people across the UK to thrive and be the best they can be, by raising money to support the projects we fund in the heart of communities like yours.
There are 4 variations of traditional Burpees, so you can choose the one that’s right for you. You can do this challenge alone, or get your friends or colleagues to sign up too. Why not get the whole family involved? We want you to have fun, be SPOTacular, and help BBC Children in Need to make a real difference.
You can find more information and all the fundraising resources you need on the BBC Children in Need website."
