Jane “runs” a VERY long way

MRT Spine Challenger South · 11 January 2025
Hi! Thanks for being here. I’ve decided to attempt sometime stupid, something I have no idea if I can complete, something which brands itself “Britain’s more brutal race”, apparently I thought it would be fun!!
……
On January 11th, I'll be taking on the Montane Winter Spine MRT Challenger South—“a grueling 108-mile journey through some of the toughest winter conditions the UK has to offer. This race is known as one of the most challenging endurance events in the world, testing both physical and mental limits.” …. Sounds fun right?!
I’m doing this insanity to raise funds for Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Plymouth, who provides essential search and rescue services. “Their volunteers work tirelessly, often in harsh conditions, to save lives and help those in need across Dartmoor and beyond.” … there seems to be a pattern here, this also sounds fun?!
Your support will make a huge difference. Please donate to help DSRT Plymouth continue their life-saving work. Every penny counts!
Thank you for your support!
I also have a wish list of things I would love to borrow from someone until January:
Yaktrax Pro
Lightweight sleeping bag (comfort rating of 0c)
Hand held GPS
Full length light weight sleeping mat
lightweight trowel(!)
lightweight bivi (with taped seams)
35L(ish) bag with lots of pockets
