My beloved Karl was looked after by the amazing team at St Bartholomews Hospital in April and May 2023. He had the best care we could have wished for and we are beyond grateful to all the staff.

Karl was my rock and support. He encouraged me to pursue my dreams and be the best version of myself. He was happy to be in the background as he helped me and his children. He was my soul mate and I am heartbroken that he is no longer with us. 2024 would have been his 50th birthday and we had so much planned for this year that will never happen for him.

I'll be doing a series of events over 2024 leading up to the Hike for Health, taking the time on my feet to remember his life, keep his memory alive and raise as much money as I can for the wonderful people at Barts so that they can help as many people as possible.
