On 13th September 2025, I’ll be taking on a thrilling challenge – abseiling down the iconic 164-foot tower of Wakefield Cathedral!

From fun family activities and craft days to amazing concerts and community events, there’s always something going on for everyone to enjoy.

I’ve had the joy of taking part in many of these wonderful events with my grandchildren and my mum – three generations coming together in a place that truly welcomes all. Whether it’s music echoing through the nave or laughter filling the café, the Cathedral brings people together in the most special way.
