Last year I went to Uganda to work primarily with staff and students at the Nile Vocational Institute in Jinja, about four hours drive from the capital, Kampala. The students who come from very poor backgrounds are sponsored by the charity to have an education and learn a skill or trade which they then use to find employment. As well as their tuition fees, we provide them with essentials such as toiletries and a box to keep their belongings in. It is truly life-changing for them. We also support a Street Children's Project where children as young as 2 years old, living on the streets, are provided with basic food. All the money raised goes directly to the people who need it. I am so privileged to be going back again this February and am extremely grateful for any support you can give.
