'Shreddies' fundraiser for Blesma The Limbless Veterans

Janet Piper is raising money for Blesma The Limbless Veterans

Remembrance poppy installation

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans helps all serving and ex-Service men and women who have lost limbs, or lost the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support.

Story

’Shreddies’ (social group for women) have crafted hundreds of poppies which will become a Remembrance installation on the outskirts of Lydford 24/10 - 14/11, raising funds for BLESMA.

Our plan is to remember those that lost their life as a result of conflict, military and civilian, at the time or a few years later.

We plan to attach a remembrance tag to a poppy.

If you would like to remember a family member or friend (minimum donation of £1) via this Justgiving medium please place their name in the message section. If you know where and which year please add that.

It would be nice to compile a record for local interest.

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans, is dedicated to assisting serving and ex-Service men and women who have suffered life-changing limb loss or the loss of use of a limb, an eye or loss of sight. We support these men and women in their communities throughout the UK and overseas.
