Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Well…it has been a tough year with my husband, Martin, having a stroke. With lots of physio and moving house later, I thought that it would be a good idea to raise some money to pay it back! As some of you will know…my hair has been growing for many years and I have decided to donate 12 inches of my hair to the Little Princess Trust but want to also see if you kind people would sponsor me for doing this, so that I can also support The Stroke Association too!

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.

Thank you all for you support.

Lots of love Janet xx
