Volunteering for Willow Foundation has opened my eyes as to how valuable and precious the work they do in creating bespoke experiences and treats for seriously young adults; living with a life threatening illness or a life limiting condition. A day creating lasting, special memories shared with loved ones at such an important time.

So I’m supporting Special Days for seriously ill young adults as I trek to the highest peak in Morocco!

A 5-day trip that takes me on a journey through the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco to the highest peak in Morocco and all of North Africa, the famous Mt Toubkal at 4,167m. Are you mad I hear you ask ……probably (what with my knees!) but a challenge that is nothing to those 16-40 year olds diagnosed with cancer or living with degenerative, genetic and metabolic illness.

I realise there are so many good causes and charities out there, but I would be so grateful if you could support me and the incredible work of this charity by giving what money you can afford, but of course the more the merrier!
