Jan's sister Di has worked in many crisis areas around the world and is now with Help Age International, part of a team that works to improve the lives of older men and women, who often get left behind in a humanitarian crisis.

Di is unable to attend our wedding as she will be in Poland, working with other NGO's to support Ukrainian older people displaced in the present crisis. She has just returned from Ukraine and experienced the challenging security situation in all parts of the country. Their problems are not going away - just growing.
