We’ve set up this tribute page for anyone who would like to donate in honour of my beautiful mum Janet, who very sadly passed away on 19th January 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

The money will be donated to the Heatons Cat Sanctuary which was very close to her heart and where she adopted two of her beloved rescue cats Rocky and Dennis.

My mum was the life and soul of the party, and everyone was always welcome. She had a unique talent for people - effortlessly taking care of everyone while making the world a more fabulous place with her natural charm, charisma, and humour.

She was the sort of person you could go to for anything, and she always knew what to do. She never forgot a birthday or missed an opportunity to make other people feel special. Incredibly generous, strong, funny and always glamorous! She made friends everywhere that she went and I know that her absence will be felt very deeply by the many people who knew and loved her. Life will never be the same without her sparkle.

Her funeral will take place on Thursday 13th February at St Catherine's Church in Didsbury at 11:30 am, followed by a burial at Southern Cemetery. Afterwards, please join us back at the Parrs Wood pub from 2 pm to raise a glass in her name.
