I'm Janette Garden, born and bred in Lanark with 4 grown children and 8 grandchildren. Life can be busy but I'm ready for a challenge!

I've always loved sports and the outdoors, so together with my friend Anne Marie we plan to cycle Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) 874 miles - my longest ride is 50 miles - this is really a challenge!

Healthy Valleys/Gear Up has given me as an older woman, independence and the confidence to do this. They promote positive health and wellbeing for all ages and I'd like to give something back to them! So, please help me raise money for Healthy Valleys/Gear Up to continue to support communities in rural South Lanarkshire.
