Janette's mid life crisis fundraiser 😳

Charity Skydive · 13 July 2025
You never know what life is going to throw at you and as the years go by and things happen that you hadn’t expected it makes you realise that we should seize the opportunities and challenges that come along with both hands!
I guess I’ve always been a bit of a thrill seeker, my bungey jump in Australia aged 22 was probably the first big one and the decision to start running aged 49 after losing my mum suddenly and unexpectedly and training to run the Great North Run in 2021 another more recent one.
When asked if I was interested in doing a charity skydive by my brother in law I jumped at the opportunity (no pun intended)!
The Liverpool Head and Neck Centre (LHNC) combines internationally recognised clinical and research strengths to deliver research-led improvements in the quality and safety of patient care. I couldn’t be more pleased to support them in the excellent work that they do.
