Story
So... I've somehow signed up for a Strictly-style dance competition to raise funds for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice in Herts and I'm not entirely sure what I was thinking! We will be performing at the Watersmeet Theatre in Berkhamsted at the end of January and working with an awesome pro dancer who is teaching us the moves.
But while my dance moves might be questionable, the cause absolutely isn't. The Rennie Grove Peace Hospice does incredible work supporting patients and families when they need it most, and I'm determined to help raise as much as possible for them.
I'll be Charleston-ing my way across the dance floor (send prayers), and I'm going to need ALL the support I can get - both moral and financial!
Lets not forget – as documented in my memoir, 'From Wham to Woo - A Life on the mic' the last time I attempted ‘proper’ dancing was when I was in panto about 6 years ago, I managed to sashay across the stage catching my harem pants in my heels and went literally a** over t** It happened to be the night my whole family had come to see the show!
There WILL be costume decisions to be made and I absolutely will be asking for your input. Consider yourselves warned!
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference. And if nothing else, you know you’re supporting a great cause, and encouraging me to get off the couch and dance - surely that's worth a few quid?
Thank you!
