Story
I am walking for Lisa and lighting up the night to raise as much as possible for a truly wonderful cause.Sometimes you don’t realise how valuable a source is until one day it becomes part of your life. Teesside Hospice is the most caring, warm and supportive environment for those living with terminal illnesses. After spending time there over the past few months I can honestly say the care they give towards the patients and families is outstanding.
Their mission is to help families make the most of every day, creating lasting memories and experiences. By walking 11km through Redcar and Marske in the middle of the night, you’ll be helping create more memories for those living with a life limiting illness in Teesside.
Why your support matters:
Teesside Hospice exists to support people living with a terminal illness, helping them live as well as possible, for as long as possible. It costs £6 million annually to run our services – that’s almost £17,000 every 24 hours.
