Every day, individuals with disabilities encounter loneliness and isolation. For the past 16 years, The Friendship Circle has been a beacon of hope in the Manchester community, enriching the lives of those with disabilities through fully inclusive social and recreational programmes. These initiatives empower members to integrate into society, fostering confidence and self-esteem.

As I prepare for the upcoming Great Cloudwalker Challenge on April 27, 2025, I am reminded of the importance my goal. The Friendship Circle receives no statutory funding and relies entirely on the generosity of our community. This is where you come in. I am participating in this trek to raise awareness and funds for this much needed cause.
