50km at 50 – Supporting Velindre Cancer Centre
This year, I’m turning 50 – and to mark the milestone, I’ve set myself a big challenge: Running my first Ultramarathon of 50km in one day to raise funds for Velindre Cancer Centre.
Velindre is known as The Hospital of Hope, and for good reason. They provide outstanding care, support, and treatment for cancer patients and their families across Wales. Their work changes – and saves – lives every single day.
I’ve chosen to take on this challenge not just to celebrate my half-century, but to give something back and help ensure Velindre can continue doing what they do best: delivering world-class care and hope when it’s needed most.
Whether you’ve had personal experience with cancer or just want to support a truly worthy cause, your donation – big or small – will make a difference. Every step I take is for those who can’t, and every pound you give helps fund essential research, equipment, and patient support services.
Please donate if you can, and feel free to share my page with others. Let’s make this milestone matter.
Thank you so much 💚
