I am so so pleased to be one of the 12 finalists in the real people strictly come dancing event called Dance Floor Hero’s. I went through multiple audition stages over a 6 month period to be a finalist and I am so proud to be able to share my story so far. To be a finalist I have committed to raising a minimum of £1k for the wonderful charity Tia’s Crown who provide free dance lessons in our local community - Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre to help improve mental and physical health.

I do hope you will enjoy seeing my journey as I am paired with my pro dancer Wendy Greenwood. Wendy has been involved in Ballroom & Latin dancing for over 25 years. Competing all over the world Wendy and her partner al valentine are ranked number 1 Senior Latin Couple in England. I have met them twice in April 2025 as they compete at national and world champs at Blackpool Winter Gardens. Wendy and I will be dancing the Cha Cha Cha!! I’m so excited to start learning and will be sharing this incredible experience on my FB and in the Dance Floor Hero’s page too. So please follow this wonderful charity event! I have no prior experience in ballroom/latin dancing this is way outside of my comfort zone but I’m ALL IN!!!! And my aim is to embrace this wonderful opportunity and hopefully inspire others along the way.

I will be doing different fundraising activities that I hope you would like to be involved in, Belly Dancing for beginners 28/4/25, Paint and Sip Queen of the Jive 21/05 run with JJ Blackpool parkrun takeover on 31/05!
