Janma-rathon

300km in March (May or June!!)
I’ve decided to run 300km in March to raise money for The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust. The trust is an independent charity with the aim and objective of promoting and assisting in the prevention and relief of sickness, suffering and distress of those afflicted with leukaemia, particularly but not exclusively by the provision of funded research.
Those of you that know us will know that my wife Jenna’s mum, Janet ‘Janma’ Schofield passed away last year after being diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukaemia.
Jan was an inspiration. The way she handled herself during this horrific time was truly amazing and she is dearly missed by everyone that knew her, let alone her 3 children and 5 grandchildren she left behind.
As she knew Sue Sollis who runs the Trust. I feel that this is a worthy and fitting cause to raise money for. I hope you feel this too..
Only two months ago the idea of running for even just a couple of K’s was daunting. This, for me, is a lot to ask my body and I hope you can see your way to giving what you can.
Thanks in advance and I’ll let you know how I’m getting on 🙌
