Alhamdulillah, Desi Lols have partnered with Salam Charity this Ramadan to raise funds to feed people iftaar insha’Allah!

Each night of Ramadan, 10% of the world will go to bed hungry – a staggering 811 million people. That’s 161 million more people than last year.

During the month of Ramadan, Salam Charity will be providing Iftar to more than 15,000 people and invites you to be a part of this incredible project.

Yemen and Afghanistan: £300. This equates to £1.50 providing a hot, nutritious meal to someone in Yemen and Afghanistan

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said: "Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all."

How can you make a difference:

£1.50 - Feed 1 person an iftaar.

£15 - Feed 10 people an iftaar.

Excess funds remaining after the completion a project are placed within the Salam Charity General Fund and used to implement other projects.

Each Iftar caters for up to 200 people and also provides almost 200 hot meals to take home for women and children. Videos will be sent directly to the donor on the day of their Iftar.

This Project is Zakat Applicable.
