Sometimes the best way to give back is to step right outside your comfort zone — or in our case, 137 feet over the edge.

We’re taking a leap — quite literally — for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).

Soon, Kathryn and I will be abseiling 137 feet down Edinburgh Distillery. It’s not something either of us does every day, and yes… it’s well outside our comfort zones. But that’s exactly the point.

While neither of us has been directly supported by CHAS, we are deeply connected by something just as powerful:

the desire to give back, to show up, and to help where help is needed most.

CHAS provides unwavering care, compassion, and support to children with life-shortening conditions and to their families — not just in the hardest moments, but throughout their journey. Their work is extraordinary, and we believe causes like this deserve bold action and loud support.

So we’re stepping over the edge — hearts racing, legs shaking — to raise funds and awareness for families who face challenges far greater than a 137-foot drop.
