Story
My name is Janos Magyari, and I work as a support worker at The Sheiling Ringwood, a school for young people with learning disabilities including Autism. I plan to take on a 30-mile walking challenge to raise money for my school. We aim to raise £1 million to fund the construction of a new purpose-designed double classroom.
This new building, a testament to your support, will not only enable us to support more children with special educational needs, including those with Autism, but it will also transform their lives. Designed to be state-of-the-art, it will provide an optimal learning environment for our students for many years to come. Your generosity, making this new facility possible, will not only improve their lives but also enhance their chances of reaching their full potential.
The new classrooms' design is based on best practices outlined by the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) Sensory Spaces in Schools. This design will help students regulate their emotions, engage in learning, and achieve better long-term outcomes in adulthood.
The new building will allow The Sheiling Ringwood to take on more students, something that is desperately needed as we receive far more applications than we have places.
I'm going to walk from Bournemouth to the school, where I'll stop to spend time with some of our students and then walk back home.
I am sincerely grateful for any support you can give, even if it is just sharing it with your friends.
Thank you
