Story
On the 12th of July 2025, I will be taking part in the Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon 24hr ultra marathon to raise money for Cancer Research Wales.
My goal is to run up and down the Llanberis path to the peak of Snowdon at least 5-6 times in 24 hours, a distance of 80-100km (50-60 miles).
I took part last year and managed 4 laps. I'm sure the extra motivation from your kind donations will push me further and faster this year!
The event webpage (routes etc) can be found here: https://alwaysaimhighevents.com/events/yr-wyddfa-snowdon-24-2025
Almost all of us will be affected by Cancer (directly or indirectly) at some point in our lives. I intend to do all I can to support great organisations like Cancer Research Wales who lead the fight against this awful disease.
Cancer Research Wales
https://www.cancerresearch.wales/
Our vision is a Wales united against cancer through world-class research. We work to reduce the impact of cancer and improve unacceptable survival rates. By supporting the best cancer researchers and clinicians across Wales, we are driving innovation and improving outcomes for the cancer patients of today and tomorrow.
All research funding is spent in Wales, for Wales. None of our work would be possible without the generous support of people of Wales, to whom are truly grateful.
