In 2009 my Mum, Alina, died of cancer. My daughter Ewa and I set up a foundation in her name to support Polish hospices and promote the hospice movement. Our main fundraising event is an annual bike ride.

This summer I am cycling 1,000km across Europe, from Prague to Krakow in 8 days, to raise money and deliver equipment for local hospices in Poland.
