Story
From 4–8 June, a team from The Sauveux Group will be taking on the challenge of trekking Mount Toubkal in Morocco to raise funds for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. Standing at 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa and the Atlas Mountains, and the trek will take place over a three-day expedition.
I’m getting involved in the trek and raising money for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity because it’s a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.
My hero was treated at the hospital and cared for by the most amazing team and I’ll always be grateful for the compassion, strength, and support they showed during such a difficult time.
Taking on the challenge of trekking Mount Toubkal in Morocco (4,167m) will push me far beyond my comfort zone. But if my hero can face cancer treatment with courage, strength, and determination and absolutely crush it, then I can take on this mountain with that same tenacity.
This trek is for them.
It is for everyone fighting.
And it is for everyone who supports life-changing cancer care.
Clatterbridge Cancer Charity plays a vital role in delivering world-class cancer care, supporting patients and families, and continually investing in better treatment, facilities and outcomes. The work they do makes a real and lasting difference.
As a group, we wanted to take on a challenge that reflects who we are - pushing ourselves, supporting each other, and standing behind a cause that truly matters. Mount Toubkal is a demanding climb, but it’s a small challenge compared to what cancer patients face every day.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps Clatterbridge continue their incredible work. Thank you for supporting our team and this important cause.
