I visited Jarjeer Mule and Donkey Trust which is a charity outside Marrakesh. Susan and Charles Machin retired there after retiring from legal careers in the North West. They started to rescue Horses, Donkeys and Mules who were injured or too old to work and now have over 400.

Bill and I visited last Christmas and it is an incredible place and they are providing treatmnet, rehabilitation and a home to these animals in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

I decided when I returned that I wanted to raise some money for them. I am not a runner but have been training with Dolly Dog the German Shorthaired Pointer.

It costs over £1000 a week to feed everyone. It would be great if I could raise that much money for the charity
