I lost my aunt on New Years Day. She will always be one of the greatest people I ever met. She was the woman I looked up to as a child and who I went to when I knew I was going to get in serious trouble.

She was full of life and never let her conditions get her down. She was a fighter and she fought to the end.

She was diagnosed with Lupus in her 20's which resulted in her developing other conditions and she lost her battle at aged 46.

I am now going to complete the Peak District Ultra Challenge with members of my family, we will walk and share our memories of her and raise money for Lupus UK, which supports people with the condition.
