Story
As Dad and daughter, we have decided to take on The London Landmarks Half-Marathon in April to raise money for Mind.
As the UK's leading mental health charity whose core mission is to fight for mental health, they provide a range of vital services, from providing information and support to campaigning tirelessly to improve services and raise awareness. For young people aged 17 to 19 in the UK, around 1 in 10 in 2017 were experiencing a mental health condition which rose rapidly to over 1 in 4 by 2023. This highlights the vital need for the work that Mind does.
As two non-runners we have decided to take on this challenge to show that anything is possible whilst running for a charity close to our hearts. Through most of Jazzy's teenage years she struggled with her mental health and her parents were always by her side and never gave up hope, even when she did.
This run will be a victory lap for everything Jazzy has overcome and everything Richard has supported her through.
