This year, Dan and I have decided to take part in a sponsored walk to raise money for the incredible hospice team who have been looking after my mum.

While my mum is still with us, the support, care, and kindness she’s received from the hospice has meant the world to both her and our family. It’s not just about medical care — it’s about dignity, compassion, and giving people (and their families) a sense of peace during the hardest moments.

I’ve seen firsthand how much difference their work makes. The hospice isn’t just a place; it’s a team of people who go above and beyond every single day, making sure no one feels alone.

This walk is my way of saying thank you while my mum is still here to see it. I want to give back, to help make sure other families can have the same comfort and support we’ve been lucky enough to receive.

Whilst the hospice is run and managed by NHS Hampshire Hospitals Trust, it relies on donations and is an independent charity. So if you can spare a donation, big or small, it would mean the world to me — and to everyone this incredible Hospice helps.
