Story
Running a marathon is hard, but living with a brain tumour is harder! As somebody living with a brain tumour, I am dedicating my Yorkshire Marathon 2025 efforts to Brain Tumour Research. My brain tumour doesn’t just affect me, but those around me also who help me understand and deal with my symptoms. Thankfully, my brain tumour is benign and the symptoms I deal with on a daily basis are managed with specialist care and medication from my consultant, however, more aggressive, cancerous brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
