I am raising money for Thyroid UK as during the summer of 2022 my younger brother was diagnosed with graves disease (hyperthyroidism). This has had a huge impact on his day to day life going from struggling to walk for an extended period of time to not being able to participate in PE at school due to extreme exhaustion.

For those that this is the first time hearing about graves disease I would advise you to read more about it through Thyroid UKs website.

I am dedicating this Marathon to my little brother in the hopes that one day he himself can participate in such activities.
