At this years Football event,

We are going to be managing team Karen Ashall on behalf of Stewie Kerr, You can read his families story below....

My mum was a a beautiful lady inside and out, She had the most bubbly personality and was very outgoing and fun, she also had the most infectious smile she was one of a kind.

Always thought of others before herself, she loved her family so much and was the best nanny /nan to all of her grandchildren who she doted on so much.

Karen also loved her life long partner Steve even though they had their ups and downs they became good in the end and he was always there for her right till the end.

Sadly 3 years ago she become poorly, they found she had blood clots in her brain, Then over the course of a few years she became very unwell being sick and in pain she lost all her weight and became very frail, she was in and out of hospital numerous times.

They then found a lump on her adrenal gland, and developed a lump on her arm the pain became so bad she couldn’t walk at times. They then thought it could be her gallbladder so she asked them many times to just take it out. She was due to be operated on a few months ago but it was cancelled. It was October this year, when finally she was admitted to hospital because of her being so unwell and they thought again it was all to do with her gallbladder she was due to have an operation to take it out, Sadly on the 2nd of November this year we had a phone call to say she had deteriorated over night, no explanation of what or why but sadly she passed away with her family by her side later that night. Few days later we found out she had adrenal cancer and sepsis from the hospital examination.

Much loved Mum, Wife, Nan/Nanny, Sister and Auntie she will be deeply forever missed by us all.
