My family and I have been extremely fortunate in our lives to not have seen or had to deal with the effects cancer can have on someone and those around them. Just over a year ago, that all changed when my nana was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, we have all single handedly seen the effort and support given to patients and families by charities against cancer. I want to raise money for beatsons so they can continue to help the sick and those around them, and I want to run for my nana, who has been so strong throughout this journey and never let her smile fade. For her, any normal run would not suffice. So please support me as I prepare to run for 24 hours. All for a great cause.
