I'm doing this walk in memory of my mother and the wonderful care that she received from the staff in her final days at the Hospice. The work and care the hospice provides goes beyond just caring for the patients in the hospice. The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £6m we need each year to fund our free care. Your support is ever more important, as NHS funding covers less than 20% of our running costs.
