Jason's fundraiser for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

Jason Ritchie is raising money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

Jukebox Heroes 2025

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We’ve got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.

£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.

For 2025 I am aiming to raise funds for five charities. These are Dog's Trust, RNLI, Sobell House Hospice, Oxfordshire MIND and CALM.

Pleased to have former work colleague Bob Sym join in this virtual charity walk as 4m steps is rather a lot for one person!

You can follow our progress here at the England’s Cities virtual charity walk group

Also, for a minimum donation of a £1.00 you can nominate any album/EP or single song, for me to listen to and then write about at the Rockin' Chair blog.

For this year there is just one caveat...any album, EP and/or single has to have been released since 1985, as 2025 marks forty years of fundraising for me. If you're interested you can read a potted history of my fundraising up to 2014 here

Bit of fun as I could literally listening to any genre or artist! Like a jukebox, you put in your money and let the power of music help five charities.
