In April, I’ll be taking on The Big Leap — jumping from 15,000 feet, hitting speeds of up to 120mph, and freefalling for a full 60 seconds. This is well outside my comfort zone, especially as I have a real fear of heights, so it’s a challenge that’s both exciting and genuinely daunting for me.

I’m doing it to support Overgate Hospice’s Big Build Appeal, a project that will create a brand-new inpatient facility with more space, more comfort, and the capacity to meet the growing needs of people across Calderdale. Overgate Hospice plays an essential role in our community, and this development will make a lasting difference for local families.

To help boost the fundraising, I’ll personally match donations up to a total of £250 — so anything you give will have double the impact.
