Marya Fforde, my mother, passed away last year aged 96 having lived with Alzheimer's for the past seven years.

As primary carer, I know very well indeed how difficult this illness is for all concerned, and raising money for the Alzheimer's Society allows both support for carers and funding to research a way in which the disease can be eradicated for good.
