Sheffield Half Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I am raising funds for the Stroke Association UK by participating in the Sheffield Half Marathon on April 7th, 2024.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down and so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough.

This cause is deeply personal to me as my father has bravely faced and overcome two strokes. By running this half marathon, I aim to contribute to the Stroke Association's efforts in supporting stroke survivors and their families, as well as funding vital research and education. Your generous donations will make a significant impact in raising awareness and providing crucial resources for those affected by strokes. Together, let's support the Stroke Association UK and celebrate the strength and resilience of stroke survivors like my dad.
