Jas vs London Marathon 2026 for Rainbows Hospice - Let's beat last year and raise some money for this amazing charity!

In 2025 I took on a task that I was not sure was possible - completing my first ever marathon, and with only 3.5 months notice! This year we get to do it all again as Rainbows have very kindly selected me for one of their Golden Ticket marathon places!

Why Rainbows, and why is this fundraising so important?

Life can be so cruel, and lives taken far too soon. Rainbows cares for hundreds of families every year who have a baby, child or young person with a serious or terminal illness that means that their lives will be shorter than most.

Rainbows Children's Hospice relies heavily on public donations, with government funding covering a small fraction of costs (around 13%), leaving the vast majority of their essential care and support funded by charitable giving, trusts, and foundations, highlighting their critical need for community support to remain open.
