I'm taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 12th October 2025 to fundraise for Arts for Dementia

My Grandma always lived a healthy lifestyle but despite this, she was diagnosed with Mixed Alzheimer's & Vascular Dementia at 89 years old in 2021.

Her cognitive abilities, memory, thinking and behaviour have deteriorated leaving her under 24 hour care since losing the ability to live independently.

As her family, it's been difficult watching her deteriorate where she no longer recognises her loved ones.

There's many types of Dementia that affect people from all ages around the world and your support in raising money for Arts for Dementia will help inspire them living with dementia to develop their creativity, social connection, and skills, which can significantly enhance their quality of life
