Hi, I'm Jav and I'll be running in the Cardiff Half Marathon Sunday October 1st. I have taken up this challenge in aid of Sir Gareth Edwards Cancer Charity, a charity very close to home, which supports those affected by cancer between the ages of 15 - 35 in Wales

I decided to take on this challenge not just to fulfil a personal goal, but to contribute to an amazing cause. Cancer is a battle that I have fought myself in the past, and through this experience, I have gained a new perspective on life and the importance of supporting those who are now going through similar challenges.

This half marathon is the biggest target I have ever set for myself, I have never attempted running at this level so the training is well underway and I am determined to finish with a decent time.. Wish me luck, pretty sure I need it!😅
