£9 for Jaxon’s 9th Birthday 🤍
Today, 19th August, should be my son Jaxon’s 9th birthday.
Jaxon died in 2021 when he was just three years old. I’ll never get to know what nine-year-old Jaxon would have looked like, what he’d be interested in, what presents he’d have asked for or who he would have grown to be - but I’ll spend the rest of my life imagining him, talking about him and celebrating every year of his life.
So, for his 9th birthday, I wanted to turn some of the love that still surrounds Jaxon into something that could make a difference to another child and their family.
I’m raising money for Footprints, a Nottingham charity supporting children living with mobility and communication difficulties and their families.
It costs approximately £5,066 to support one child and their family for an entire year, so that’s our birthday goal.
If you’re able to, I’d love you to donate £9 for Jaxon’s 9th birthday. Of course, any amount - big or small - is incredibly appreciated.
If enough of us give just £9, together we could fund an entire year of support for a child and their family, all in Jaxon’s name.
I can’t buy my little boy a 9th birthday present today, but together we can give something pretty special to somebody else.
Happy 9th Birthday, Jaxon. 🤍
Forever loved, forever celebrated.
