About the challenge

This June, the team at Convex will cycle 7,129km around the entire length of the British coastline…in 24 hours!

That’s the equivalent distance of the Scalpel (our London office) to Mumbai!

For me, this falls on the same day as the Blackpool Imperial Backgammon Tournament so I'll be fitting my leg of the cycle route around this!

This means starting at 6am in Morecombe, cycling the 60km to Blackpool, playing 10hrs of backgammon and then hopping back on the bike to cycle the final 26km to Preston!

Whilst this sounds a crazy idea, atleast it is flat (unlike the Kyle of Lochalsh leg which has 2400m of elevation!).
