Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to beat muscle-wasting conditions.

Story

Muscles.

We use them to move.

Walk, eat, smile, cry.

Pump blood around our bodies.

To breathe in and out.

Our muscles matter.

By fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy UK, I’m helping to fund world-class research into effective treatments, and life changing support for the 110,000 people in the UK living with a muscle-wasting condition.

I started running after my own personal injuries of breaking my back and having surgery on my neck, and needing something challenging to motivate me to get back into fitness and train for a big achievement. Since I started running I have loved it and enjoy being out and about challenging myself. Since i started running i have picked up injuries along the way such as fracturing both ankles, but all is worth it to raise money for charity!

I ran the London marathon in 2024 and I'm back for more again in 2025!

All donations and support are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
