On Saturday 12th September I will be taking on the 25k Thames Bridges Trek, raising money for the amazing charity below. Not much training has taken place but I will be motivated by my appreciation of our fantastic veterans.

The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans is a fantastic charity run by volunteer London black taxi drivers and has been supporting thousands of veterans since 1948.

Each year, they escort veterans to the Netherlands, joining the Dutch people in their liberation celebrations, and to Normandy for the D-Day commemorations.

They are the only Forces charity that focuses on providing fun and entertainment arranging free events for veterans from all conflicts. Our volunteer black cabbies generously give their time to support our organised trips and events for veterans.
