Hi Everyone, thanks for supporting this fundraiser - I really appreciate your support!

A team of 9 riders have come together to raise money for The Faraway Children's Charity and are cycling from London to Paris within 24 hours (including travel time whilst on the ferry)!

I'm supporting an old Wellingborough School friend Andy Lock, who will be cycling in memory of James Swallow on James' Brompton folding bike, making its way to the Eiffel Tower.

With nowhere near enough training to date but with the support of the team we'll have a damn good go at achieving the mission within the time frame especially with a steak, chips and decent bottle of red being a key driver at the destination to keep us going during the 180 mile ride!

Faraway Charity is a local Northampton charity helping disadvantaged, vulnerable and at risk children and young people within Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. James’ parents chose this charity and since his passing have raised thousands of pounds to support it.
