I have decided to run half a marathon every month right up until the Great North Run 2024, at first I was going to enter the ballot and see if I was lucky enough to get a spot but then I noticed Roy Castle Lung Cancer foundation had spots available and this also gave me the opportunity to raise money for a great cause.
Raising money for this charity seems perfect for me as around 4 years ago I lost a grandparent to lung cancer. Having charities like Roy Castle to help and support people suffering from lung cancer is extremely necessary and helpful in giving people the support they need.
Every donation is extremely appreciated no matter how small so don’t feel pressured to donate a certain amount, Even £1 will help me smash the donation goal!
When you hear the words “incurable cancer”, you panic but Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation has given me hope. It has made me realise that I can live a full life with cancer.
