In July, I will be participating in the Tall Ships Race, sailing from Den Helder, Netherlands to Hartlepool in the United Kingdom from the 1st of July to the 8th of July! As part of it, I am on a mission to raise funds for an important cause: Care of Police Survivors (COPS)! 

COPS is a charity that provides vital support to the families of police officers and staff who have lost their lives while serving their communities. They offer practical and emotional support, ensuring that bereaved families receive the help they need during what is undoubtedly a difficult time.

The job of a police officer can be incredibly challenging, difficult, and dangerous. Every day, officers put themselves in harm's way to serve and protect their communities. Unfortunately, some officers face the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. It's important that we honour and remember the brave men and women who have lost their lives while serving their communities as police officers. Their sacrifice should never be forgotten.
