My name is Jayden. I am 13 years-old and a rising 8th grader! As most young people my age, I’m growing up enjoying Playstation or X-Box and gaming in general. However, I’ve discovered Golf! I was introduced to the youth golf organization, First Tee through an elementary school program. Now entering my 4th year as a First Tee participant, I have grown to love the sport of Golf. My goal is to continue to improve my skills, techniques, meet & make friends. I enjoy the confidence and peace that golf provides. Hopefully, my participation will encourage and open doors for many other young minorities to achieve their dreams and develop their full potential.

From First Tee of the Triangle:

This year, 40 of our First Tee - Triangle participants will be playing in our annual Kid-Am Tournament. Similar to a Pro-Am but unlike your traditional golf tournament, this event will partner each foursome with one of our very own standout participants! Not only does golf play a role in their participation, so does fundraising. We are asking our participants to fundraise to cover the cost of their playing and any extra money raised will go directly towards the First Tee's mission of providing character education to local youth through the game of golf.
