Jay has set himself a good few challenges to help fundraise for Jaxon to receive a life changing surgery called SDR that he has now been accepted for at Alder Hey hospital. Unfortunately Jaxon does not meet the criteria to have the surgery on the NHS and will need to self fund, he will also need to cover the cost of intense pysio for many years after the surgery to ensure he gets the best results out of it. Jaxon is 5 years old and can not stand or walk independently, he has a genetic condition that has recently been diagnosed called Hereditary spastic paraplegia type FAR1 that affects his lower limbs, global development delay and cataracts which he has had surgery for on both eyes.
